I have an email draft where I list the books I want to read, but thought I’l post here so others could enjoy and comment.  Always open to good book suggestions, especially with so many books to choose from these days.  It will also be nice to have a bit of a reference to what we’ve read and of course a reminder of what I would like to read.  I/we may or may not post our thoughts about each book, we’ll see what happens. And don’t laugh that I might have ten books on the go at once, this is just what I seem to do.

Currently reading:

Too Small to Ignore – Dr. Wess Stafford

  • I have to comment on this book.  I’m half way through and it has been a great read so far (and a difficult read at times – emotionally). Confirms that children rock!  And how in our North American / European culture we don’t really seem to understand the big picture as far as how we involve kids in our lives and the life of the church. Looking forward to finishing this read.

Almost Amish – Nancy Sleeth

Too Busy Not to Pray – Bill Hybels

Up next:

Almost Home – Kevin Ryan & Tina Kelley

Crazy Love – Francis Chan

Just finished:

Edner’s Game – Orson Scott Card

Hope to read one day:

Rich Christians in an Age of Hunger – Ronald Sider

The China Study – T. Colin Campbell

The Solar Food Dryer – Eben Fodor

Desiring the Kingdom – James K.A. Smith

Imagining the Kingdom – James K.A. Smith
